Structural engineering
Steel, concrete, and timber frames for buildings, towers, and long-span structures — analysed, detailed, and stamped by chartered engineers.
Civil & structural engineering consultancy
We are a civil and structural engineering firm designing bridges, buildings, and infrastructure — where the calculations are rigorous, the assumptions are documented, and nothing gets built on a hunch.

Who we are
We believe a structure is only as good as the assumptions behind it. Our job is to interrogate every load path, every soil condition, and every construction sequence until the design is beyond doubt.
We founded this firm in 1998 with a straightforward conviction: that engineering is a duty of care before it is a service. The projects we admired most — the long-span bridges, the towers that shrug off a hundred-year wind, the buried infrastructure nobody ever thinks about — shared one quality. They were designed by people who refused to guess. So we built a practice around that refusal, and we have kept it small enough that a principal engineer signs off on every calculation that leaves the office.
Nearly three decades on, that principle still governs everything. We model before we draw and we test before we build, because the ground rarely reads the geotechnical report and the wind never signs the contract. Our analysis is checked independently, our assumptions are written down where a client can challenge them, and our drawings carry the name of the engineer who stands behind them. That discipline is the whole point — it is why our structures perform in service, and why owners return for the second bridge, and the third.
We are deliberately multidisciplinary. There is no hand-off between the structural team and the geotechnical team and the people on site — the engineer who runs your analysis walks the pour and signs the load test. That means fewer projects at a time, deeper attention on each, and a standard of care that larger firms struggle to sustain. If you want the cheapest stamp on a drawing, we are the wrong choice. If you want a partner who will defend the safety and economy of your structure to the last decimal, we should talk.

What we do
We keep our teams integrated on purpose. The engineer who runs your analysis is the engineer who walks your site — from the first borehole to the final load test.
Steel, concrete, and timber frames for buildings, towers, and long-span structures — analysed, detailed, and stamped by chartered engineers.
Site investigation, soil-structure interaction, deep foundations, and retaining works — because every structure is only as sound as the ground beneath it.
Treatment plants, drainage, flood defence, and hydraulic structures, engineered for capacity today and resilience for decades to come.
Highway and rail bridges, marine works, and heavy civil infrastructure — from concept and erection engineering to construction supervision.
How a project runs
Every structure moves through the same disciplined sequence. Scan the timeline to see what we deliver at each stage.
01 · Site & feasibility
Weeks 1–3
Geotechnical review, survey coordination, and early scheme options with cost ranges.
02 · Concept design
Weeks 4–8
Structural schemes, load paths, and material strategy agreed with the design team.
03 · Detailed design
Weeks 9–16
Calculations, connection details, and coordinated drawings ready for tender.
04 · Construction support
Site phase
Fabrication reviews, site inspections, and fast answers to keep the programme moving.
05 · Completion & sign-off
Closeout
Final inspections, as-built records, and certification for handover.
What we stand for
No calculation leaves this office without a chartered principal engineer's signature. You work directly with the people accountable for the design, start to finish.
Every critical load path is verified by a second engineer who did not do the original work. Errors don't survive two independent sets of eyes.
We design for the structure's whole life — durability, maintenance, and the hundred-year event — not just the day it opens. Robustness is never value-engineered away.
In their words
We'd rather let the owners and contractors we've worked with do the talking. Here's a little of what they've told us.
They found a way to keep the shipping channel open through the entire build. The erection sequence they engineered saved us months, and the bridge opened ahead of programme.
The most rigorous structural team we've worked with. Every assumption was documented, every load path checked twice. Our lenders signed off on the first review.
They engineered our seismic retrofit so well that not one strengthening element is visible in the galleries — and we never closed our doors. Extraordinary discipline.
